I had Kolb out for a weekend call to install a new line. While it is expected that you'll have holes in your wall, etc, far more damage/mess was done than was required to put in the line. A cabinet door was dropped, the guy dented my wall with my ladder, he put things back in with the space without cleaning the drywall dust so they were a mess, etc. Then when it got time to pay the bill, it was far higher than expected (over $800), since their dispatch handler misquoted the travel fees involved for the weekend. They did take those off but made no other considerations for the mess the guy made. The line does work, etc, but this took weeks to resolve. I'm sure that there are other services to use where hopefully, they have it a bit more together.

One of my electrical outlets were sparking and making noise around 9pm. The electrician was able to come out to service it immediately. Highly recommend this company.

I use Best Pick Reports to find Kolb Electric. I call for service for attic fan. After arriving and finding the fan higher than 10 feet in the attick, the electrician ask himself, "how am I going to do this?". "I will need a 10 foot ladder". "How am I going to get the ladder up to the attic?" He asked me if I would help him take the ladder to the attic. Who is the employee? He check to see if there we was power to the fan. He then decided that the job should be done by the a roofer. He informed me to buy a new fan at Home Depot, call a roofer to install it and call Kolb again if there were wiring concerns. This for 98 dollars! I was told that fan replacement and repair are services offered by Kolb.

Had a short--popping sound, sparks-- and called Kolb Electric at 9:30 am Monday morning, an electrician was at my house 30 minutes later, repairs complete by 11 am. The electrician, Larry, was fast and polite, and informed me of the problem and how best to fix it. Prices were quoted over the phone based on labor hours and parts, final bill was extremely reasonable. Additionally, the person who I spoke to on the phone, Beverly, I believe, was very courteous and helpful. I will be using Kolb Electric again, as well as referring them to friends and family. Thank you!

Initial experience was not satisfactory, however they sorted out all our grievances.
