Service tech spent 5mins looking at my washer and it costs $85.60. Really that's roughly $1027. 20 per hour. Skip the call and Google it if you can't figure it out just by a new one

We bought a new house in the area and it had no appliances so based on references (on SERVICE) we bought our appliances from Kollman. First we were surprised they only carry one brand, but figured they must have good luck with those ~ maybe it's because of the service work they get from selling them. For purchasing the washer, dryer, range, microwave and dishwasher and only having been in our house for 1 1/2 months, we've had service calls for the dishwasher, range, microwave AND dryer (we are waiting for the washer to have something go wrong. . . ) The dishwasher was repaired ~ auto soap dispenser wasn't sealed off correctly so it ran all the soap into the dishwasher ~ water all over the hardwood, etc. The range ovens just quit heating after I wiped out the inside of only the top oven. Just an unplug to reset things worked that time. The microwave is an over the range one that does not suck up much of the steam when cooking for as much noise as it makes (even on low you cannot speak to someone else in the room without yelling). The guy said some work better than others ~ could've been the fan was in incorrectly because he's seen that before ~ WHAT?! Only thing he did say was that it was missing the filter ~ we PAID for a filter because we knew we'd want one, but they didn't install it. He told me that general contractors toss it when they don't know what it is, however, our appliances were all installed by Kollman ~ the contractor contacts them directly when he is ready to have them installed and they work together on that. We'll be getting a filter soon. AND the dryer leaks water when we use the steam refresh to get wrinkles out. No one has heard of that before, so have to contact the manufacturer and will get back to me. . . I'm not so happy with having to wait away my mornings because my brand new appliances have issues!
