I coordinated a wedding for a bride who chose Bennett Gardens and Krisanthemums for her venue/florist. We were told we had up to 2 weeks before to make changes to our floral order. After reviewing budget, we decided to go with simpler centerpieces, which cut the amount of floral centerpieces we needed. When the bride called Kris 3 weeks prior to the wedding to make the change, she was extremely rude and said no changes could be made to the pricing. So, you can add to your order, but you certainly can't delete anything. She added, "I hope you understand how incredibly awkward this makes things now". I have been working in the industry for 10 years as an event coordinator and I have never met a florist who talked to a bride this way. Who tells a bride she has made things awkward? Especially when she's following policy? This is not the way of anyone serious about being in the hospitality industry. Also, I had to put the centerpieces out myself, from the fridge and Kris was no where to be found during the wedding. It's a shame this beautiful garden (Bennett) is one of the only venues in town because their customer service, hospitality and professionalism are lacking.

Kris does the most amazing work (Doug is pretty crafty too)....love, love, love her arrangments that she makes for my husband to spoil me with.  Did my wedding flowers, and looking forward to step-daughter's wedding this fall to see what she creates for her!  Highly recommend for any and all flower needs!
