Spent a lot of coin for a set of custom work boots here years ago.  A really bad fit, too narrow and the attempt to correct them did nothing to improve the fit.  I ended up throwing them away .

Impeccable quality handmade boots (and shoes). Great family run business!  These boots are custom fit to your feet and your walking style. You will not find a more comfortable or better fitting boot.

Quality and Service is outstanding from Kulien Shoes.  I love my hiking shoes - I would say I'm hard to fit (2 different size feet for starters) - custom is the way to go, the only way to go!  Thank you to John, Laurie and the entire team at Kulien!

Dont complain about the lack of quality, hand made product that's available after it's gone if you haven't supported it with your buying dollars....  The boots John makes are not comparable to any I've worn, (Whites, Wesco, Danner)  and I'm going back to get fit for my second pair this week...You will question and second guess yourself for spending this much on a pair of boots for the four months wait time it takes to get them ....After that a smug sense of having something very special, of the highest quality, that not many people know about will make these seem like a screaming deal
