I love their bread specially around Day of the Dead. It taste just live Home Made tradional Mexican Pueblo Bread..
The best Pan Dulce around. Also, great to stock up on groceries I need!Food: 5/5
I love this neighborhood bakery. I appreciated that they were very strict on cleanliness - as other reviewers have said, make sure the first thing you do when you go in the store is to wash your hands and grab a clean tray and tongs. Prices are low, and the bread is pretty good. To my taste, most of it was dry. I loved the sugared donuts, though, and the mini conchas are nice with a cup of coffee - I would recommend trying either or both! if you are new to panaderias. The bolillo rolls could be pretty chewy, perhaps like they were going stale? There's also a small grocery section, mainly dry & refrigerated goods with a tiny produce section. Prices on grocery were pretty high. Employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd definitely recommend visiting.
They're bread is so fresh and delicious. My wife has bought me bread from here in the morning and I can grab it late in the evening or the next day and it still will be soft. Has a great taste as well.
Five stars cause these people dont play in here you got to wash your hands before you grab their trays n tongues to get bread. Part of little village been the same since i was small good memories same ladies n all.
I always remember my parents buying us pan dulce here as kids it was great! But these past few years the bread is not the same. Everytime I try to give it another chance the bread is never fresh and its gotten so pricey.
The best pan around hands down. We have tried so many other places and they just don’t compare.
I love their bread, have been buying from that bakery for 6 years now. They have different varieties. Don't get me started with el pan de muerto. It will come I think on October. Ever all they have bread, and a little bit of everything else.
amazing bread, it was really soft and tasty! great customer service and the lady there was extremely nice <3 i definitely recommend going there. my favorite bakery in chicago.
Bakery and a grocery store, cashiers are friendly and the mood there is really uplifting, good bread.
