I've eaten here twice. Both times I arrived about 15 minutes before opening and was first in line. That said, the line was deep by the actual opening time. The pizza features an incredible thin crust with a flavorful sauce and the freshest toppings I could ever imagine. The desserts are soft and moist and the perfect finish to the best pizza I've ever had. When in NYC, I will continue making the trek to Brooklyn for this gem.
Staff is so attentive and nice! They really contribute to the overall Fun and enjoyable atmosphere that The Best Pizza by the slice establishment in the USA gave my fiance and I during my first trip to NYC! Prosciutto is my favorite typing and it happens to be their Signature Slice! Get it! They do sell completely out of pizza before the end of the night! Way Worth our staying an extra day to make sure we got to try it! They have a great street side covered patio to seat yourself at. The line to get in can go around the corner of the block! You'll realize why they fold their slices in NY, they're HUGE! Such reasonable prices too! Loved it and will definitely be back!
Tried the original pizza at L'Industrie Pizzeria, and it was fantastic! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew. The sauce was flavorful, and the cheese was top quality. It’s clear they use fresh ingredients. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!Food: 5/5
Amazing, amazing, amazing. That crust, the flavours of the toppings. Freshness of the ingredients. The service with a smile. Love how they call your name and the whole street can hear. It's a must if you are in New York. I can see why it was voted no.1 New York style pizza in New York. Food: 5/5
The pizza is a Wow! Totally worth a drive into Brooklyn just to get. There is also a location in Manhattan. Always a long line but it moves quickly, but then you’ll wait a while to get your order. Outdoor seating available and counter space where you can stand. Surprisingly good soft serve ice cream. Pastries and Donuts were good too. The ovens are electric, so high heat and the thin crust makes a crisp slice. On the more expensive side due to the popularity. Give it a try if you’re in the area. We will definitely be going back. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Something for all dietary needs Parking: Parking is difficult to find Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible
Not your traditional $1 corner slice. While real New Yorkers might balk at waiting in line for a pizza though when I got there it moved fast, I think the quality speaks for itself. I had a fig & bacon jam slice which when topped with some red pepper flakes and chili oil was a phenomenal lunch. Crust was properly crispy and burnished while toppings had the right mix of savory, sweet, and spice.
Alright we all know the pizza is great. It is. High end production for a fine fine slice. Fresh ingredients, top quality. That’s been settled and everyone knows it. But guys, there’s something that can be done about the space, the crazy lines and the service. I live very close by, and every time I’ve been here, I get yelled at for some reason, tossed around and just treated poorly by their employees. Listen, I’m not asking for a 5 star Michelin star service. But just don’t treat clients like you’re making them a favor by serving them. We’re here because we like the food, are willing to spend more than average for a few slices, and wait in line for +45 minutes. So just be nice guys, please Instead of yelling at the customers so much, put some signs to let people know what to do and where to go. Close for a few weeks to rearrange the shop in a way that the tiny hallway by the register is not so awkward and people can actually know how to interact with the space, where to form a line, where to wait. The lines are not going to stop and that means good business, so that’s good. But now the space and the communication to the customers needs to improve to make it a little bit of a better experience. This comes from respect and honesty, really. Love the pizza, but just thinking on physically going to the shop is annoying and overall a bad experience, so I think it twice and would rather 100% go to Leo, where I’m always treated respectfully.
There was a line even for a thursday afternoon. Waited maybe 15 minutes for the pizza. It was very tasty. The fig jam and bacon was really good balance of flavors. I didn't particularly like the flavor of the dough in it's own. I usually love eating crusts but I didn't eat the crust of this pizza. The staff was very nice and helpful.
There's a reason why people say it's one of the best pizzas in New York and it is a must visit! We ordered Sausage Pesto, Tartufo and Spicy Salami with hot honey. Every slice was light, flavourful and baked to perfect crispiness! Everyone was very friendly, and they were more than happy to explain the menu in details, especially since it was our first visit. They also have a variety of in house gelato and desserts. It's a very popular place and the reason is very evident. Even if it requires a little detour from the usual touristy places, it is worth a visit. Definitely one of the best pizza slices I've had in New York.
I can definitely say that the pizza here is delicious. We tried a few different types New Yorker and Spicy Salami as in pics and were very satisfied. The prices for a slice range from $4 to $6. There are also various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options available. However, the seating area is quite limited, making it more suitable for standing or takeout. When we visited, there wasn't much of a line, but later on, around 30 people were waiting. The service is relatively slow. In summary, if you're looking for a quick bite and there's no line, this place is a good choice.
