A "Jimmy" at every location! La Sen in West Linn is one of our neighborhood restaurants and, frankly it hasn't been on the top of the list for some reason when we look for an occasional night out. Perhaps because we are vegetarian and the menu at first glance feels limited. But perhaps because tonight was the first time we met Jimmy. He is the site manager--smart, handsome, and has a knack for authenticity and listening mostly unheard of in a small location like West Linn. He connected with us through his presence and quick questions, made recommendations that were spot on for what he heard, and helped us walk away with our own sauce-pack because we loved what he recommended. Kudos to whomever hired Jimmy, and to Jimmy, for being the kind of person that makes me have faith in the future. Will come again.

Staff were friendly and helpful; service was prompt. The restaurant itself is bright and modern and very clean inside. The food was extremely fresh and full of flavor, and priced well.

I waited a bit too long for my takeout order and the food was just a little bland compared to the Vietnamese I'm used to. That being said, the food was not bad and the prices are fair.

Pho was fantastic, great broth with excellent flavors. Amazing looking menu all around as well. Was here for the pho but was sorely tempted by every thing else. The service is pretty non-existent, which is to be expected at a pho place, but maybe not as appropriate at a more upscale Vietnamese restaurant. Overall, good food, great pricing, but be prepared to (politely) flag down your server.

Gave this place a number of tries, service was almost never right. Wait service forgot beverages one time, half a pho order a second time. I finally walked out when they neglected to cook my order. The group I was with finished their entrees before the table was paid any attention again. Could not recommend despite great food.
