Open a account with a check and was told they would put a hold on it but would have 500 I would use. Sign check and once the woman came back I was told they put a hold on the whole check for 5 day and I could get to my money on Friday. Check my account this morning and check still had a hold. Went back to bank and now they telling me it be tomorrow before I can get my money. She boss finally let me get 500 and she ask like she didn't even want to help. After making plans for a big camping trip with my kids and friends I had to change plans cause I wasn't told the truth on Monday.
Poor quality of service for my husband and I. On my lunch break, my husband and I stopped by to take care of some errands. We tried to deposit our tax check into my checking account and was told that we had to have a joint account instead of it being my account. Both my husband and I had signed off on the check, were physically there in-person, yet we couldn't get this deposited??? We then went to Walmart to get it cashed so that we could deposit the cash into my account since it was no longer a check under both names. Then I was told that we still couldn't deposit cash because my ID isn't valid for being on LA Wallet, even though my physical copy was stolen and hadn't been replaced yet. After we left the branch and I went back to work, they called us back and told us that they found my profile in their system and that I could now deposit my cash since I was already in the system. Mind you, I've already wasted 45 minutes running back and forth trying to get this done before I went back to work. We will not be back and we will be utilizing another bank/credit union in the future. Terrible service and terrible waste of time.
The staff at Oakdale LACAP have always been knowledgeable, courteous and respectful anytime I have visited! I have witnessed this same behavior toward other customers and I am sure they too appreciate excellent, friendly, precise service! Thank you LACAP Oakdale!!!
I mowed the grass for this branch and never received a payment the manger Steve act as if I haven’t service the banks lawn.
