We happened upon this place after being ignored at the first restaurant we went too, we were starving and not much is open late in the Cape.  From the moment we arrived we were immediately greeted and seated with a smile.  The smell of fresh flowers and herbs was amazing as well as the atmosphere, this place is beautiful.  They were busy but the service we received would never show it, our server Stone was awesome and so attentive but not intrusive as well as the rest of the staff.  Not one server passed our table without looking to make sure we had everything we needed, the teamwork and positive attitudes was on point.  The food was out of this world, everything we had was fresh and tasted amazing right down to dessert.  I seriously can not wait to go back and we are actually grateful that the first restaurant had such horrible service otherwise we wouldn't have found this one!

La Corte Bistro, Lafayette St., Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.

The food. Sea scallops and rice. I must say it was delish. The scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. I did think the seasoning was a tad salty. But I do not use a lot of salt, so it may be my taste buds. The rice was of a saffron persuasion. I am not experience in this flavor. It was good .

Chit Chat.. Stone, was my server. He did an outstanding job. Actually one of the best waiters I have had since writing my reviews. Attentive, friendly and professional. 

Though this is a pricey venue ,it was worth the experience.

Definitively  a place to take a business meeting to impress or romantic affair.

My experience this time was more positive..( they had a change of chef/staff)

Dinner with friends. Awesome quiet atmosphere. Great service and the food was superb.  All three salads were amazing, the wines tasty and entrees were excellent.  Definitely on my list for a return visit.

Really disappointed......Christmas Eve visit for dinner......Service - 2.......Food- 5........Ambiance-10....

Very surprising......

Response to owner:     There were about 150 servers on hand and only about 10 tables were filled......our server disappeared and we had to catch servers passing by for our needs......Prime rib was raw (should have been medium) and tasteless....salmon overcooked......seabass a bit under.....dipping for bread.....tasteless..........caesar salad was great.  Have no problem spending this kind of money....however, there is more to fine dining than a beautiful interior (and it is) and white table cloths.....thank you.....

If you been looking for a place that is A Cut Above the Rest this is it. Excellent food white tablecloths, polished silverware and professional staff. Finally a place in Cape Coral where you won't find patrons with wife beater t-shirts and bare feet.
