i came for a too good to go order but from the app or the Google reviews could not tell whether this was a good place. Two women order takers with loud music playing in the background, I had to raise my voiceshow my phone to say I came to collect. The rice looked not as fresh but when I sat down to eat they were really flavorful. Looking at the ambiance of the place I thought I had come upon across an underground club because it was giving similar vibes

Ordered a chicken burrito after checking the website where it states it is $9. Once I arrived she tried to charge me $13.50 after seeing the water bottle I brought in. I told her it was mine and the price went to $12.50. Decided to just try the food and was even more disappointed. Be sure to check the price before paying!

I have worked in this neighborhood for 17 years and La Estrella del Castillo has been a favorite. The lunch specials are delicious and affordable see photo, chicken yellow rice beans and can of soda for $8.50 and the staff friendly and kind. There are also more gourmet options for special occasions such as chicken rolled with ham and cheese or lobster    rice  . Very simple unassuming place but incredible flavors!

As a hispanic this was the worst experience ever... did an online order and when i got home to eat there was bearly beans in it, it was mostly bean sauce, some pieces of the chicken was burnt and the pork chops was over cooked and really hard... definitely not buying here again

I really appreciate this place. The food I have tried is tasty and well seasoned. The place can get pretty busy, but the workers always present as upbeat and friendly. I have to say that the manager Rosemary is amazing. I've called her after an order mix up and not only did she seem apologetic, she immediately rectified the problem and brought me the correction HERSELF along with some free items as a bonus! Above and beyond!

Idk why the ratings r like that but in my opinion their food is BUSSIN  I got fish n rice n beans yesterday 11$  and omg yessss so good bouta see if they got it tday idk bout yall and service is chill I like the scenery  u gotta speak up when orderingFood: 5/5

This is the greatest and most accurate food I’ve had in Brooklyn, the cuisine is the most authentic that I’ve had in the Dominican restaurant category and is nothing more than splendid to be in. I recommend you to go if you enjoy trying or eating true Dominican cuisine.Food: 5/5
