I really enjoyed my experience at this location. The pool and hot tub area are clean and large, in fact the hot tub is one of the biggest I've ever seen in a LA Fitness. This is a two-level facility, making it feel extra spacious inside. There were plenty of machines open; granted I did go in the early afternoon so it wasn't exactly a busy time. The staff was friendly as well. My main reason for this being only 4 stars is because it's really strange how the pool has windows that overlook the workout area. It's pretty awkward to be swimming in the pool and to accidentally make eye contact with someone making a goofy face while lifting heavy weights right outside the window. I think the design could've been much better and more comfortably. Overall, it was a positive experience, I will return.

Overall the gym is decent for the price you pay. You have to come during off hours to get in a good workout. Lots of free weights which is what I only use. They should get another squat rack and just extra barbells for people to do barbell exercises. Wish they had more locations. I have to drive about 10 miles to get here.

Pros: Late hours
Competitive rate
No unneeded bells & whistles
Big parking lot

Cons: 
Some free weights are missing barbells. There aren't enough for every "stand"
Need another squat rack or 2

This gym is a pretty large facility located there in Hopkins. It's near the ol' workplace and the home front too so that's nice. It is close enough for evening workout outings. Working-class neighborhood, "working-class" vibe. Located near the home of a sibling

For a cheap club, it's fine. It has almost every amenity. It's usually pretty humid in the summer. If you're able to negotiate, get a high joiners fee to lower your monthly costs. In the summer you can put your membership on hold for $10 a month. This club has racquet ball, basket ball, pool, hot tub, aerobics, spinning... The only thing they don't offer is towel service. Another great thing is, my rates will never go up. It's not the best club out there, but for the price, you can't beat it.
