Clean...friendly...not crowded. Stop by the drink bar and have a strawberry banana protein shake afterwards. Prefer the 5th st location.

I have been going to this la fitness location for the pass 5 years on and off.I would mainly come for the cycle classes and that was it.Over the last year I noticed on many occasions that when I came in to do the 12pm cycle class that the instructors would be a no show.I finally gave up on the cycle class because of this.Which I really enjoyed this as a form of exercise.So I didn’t give up on the gym I began this January 2017 I began working out on a regular regimen with the equipment and machines.Everytime the elliptical or treadmills are used I usually get one that is making all sorts of loud noises or just don’t work at all.Or there are signs all over “out of order”. I understand this a place where people sweat.But the smells in the gym are awful.The carpet needs to be Replaced along with the treadmills,bicycles,and ellipticals.Now the women’s bathroom is okay where the lockers are.But the toilets and sink area is usually dirty and makes me want to hold it.But overall the staff is friendly at the front desk.But after my thoughts my opinion is this location needs a complete renovation Including equipment and lighting.This location is perfect because I a lot of times I just walk from where I live but if a new gym opens close by me with the same offerings I will be gone.So I hope things change in the near future.

TERRIBLE experiences here repeatedly. The manager, Yolanda Williams was rude and disrespectful to me. I won’t be back. Paying money to be poorly treated is not an option.

I usually work out at this location since it is close to my job. After a few months some of the equipments are out of service or broken. Fore example; the sauna room is out of service for almost two months, the shower pipes are leaking,the toilet paper dispenser are out of paper towel etc i think, I I have to change my location to Buck head or Atlantic station or some where else.

This is the ideal gym for free weights or stationary lifting. LA Fitness Midtown tops Planet Fitness due to no power lifting platforms at Planet Fitness, also it tops Anytime Fitness in staff availability, swimming pools (Atlantic Station), racquet courts (Camp Creek), basket ball (Atlantic Station), and great classes.
