I primarily only use LA to swim laps almost daily, and I've overall had good experiences. The locker room is always clean, showers mostly (sometimes questionable), and the pool is about average cleanliness for its size and how much it gets used. The hot tub has needed a good cleaning since I started going there two months ago, and the jets are out of order *at least* half the time. More often than not,  there is a sign posted saying the hot tub is "scheduled for service". If it's that much of a repeated issue, they need to find a permanent solution or have someone on staff who can fix it sooner.

The pool has three lanes, one of which is often used by those doing water aerobics, but overall not too busy. 

Despite the drawbacks I've mentioned, I would recommend LA, at least for swimmers.

The personal trainer was so pushy and unprofessional. The manager was even wrost. After seeing the trainer for a free session and denying their services they went from nice to mean. They need to learn the word no. Please don’t waste your time talking to the trainers.

I hadn't used my membership in a year and went in to cancel. It took under a minute. After a couple of weeks I came back. That too was easy, over the phone, just a couple of minutes. I was going to go to YMCA because it's closer. It just didn't feel right. And it wasn't as clean. I think the LA women's  locker room is almost always very clean. I missed the locker room sauna too. My encounters with staff have always been excellent. I used to go 4 days a week, usually 2 hours a day or more. The reason I'm returning to a gym is because of my LA Fitness experience.

Seriously...if these people even notice you are in THEIR presence it's only because you walked  into their tunnel vision view of the world. 
I have been a Naples resident for almost 28 year. When I first moved here I was the manager of Gold's Gym for almost two year. The owner of the that facility was in the gym business for many years before opening the Gold's in Naples. Granted, he was unique in many ways, but he was ALWAYS...fair, honest and truly cared about his members and his gym. 

These people need a lesson in customer service, humility and CLEANLINESS!!!

Does ANYONE at LA Fitness care about customer service???
By the way...BEFORE you join, please understand that they set up MANY hurdles in order to cancel your membership.
If this place was not across the street from Mercato where have have an office, I would go elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and look for other options before you give this uncaring company a penny of your hard earned dollars.

Front desk people don't acknowledge you. Honestly you could probably walk past them, get a workout in, not be a member, and do it all over again. But it's a good clean gym. Plenty of equipment available and a zillion treadmills!
