I love the pool, sauna and jacuzzi which is about all I do here is get in the water. Compared it to the YMCA pool this is a nice gym and it has a open pool even when they have class going you can still get in the pool and swim. I am super happy with this gym. They keep the pool super clean the water is taken care of twice a week I have watched by them empty the Jacuzzi and fill it with clean water many time it is super nice to get in the new water knowing fresh it is 😂

The first time only tried 3 pieces of equipment and it just didn't seem to compare to Golds gym so I gave it a 1-star rating. The free weights and pully system were fine. Gave it another go a couple of times more and after getting to understand the adjustments on the machines, they're ok... and they do have a nice elliptical machine the works great for me. So I now give it a 3-star due to the horrible showers. 

So as for showers, they totally suck. So if you want your shower to run cool, medium warm, nice and warm, or skin scorching hot whenever the system pleases, it's brutal! The showers are large but definitely not clean. There's no janitorial services that I could see, no towels, no Kleenex, and no steam room.

UPDATE 8/23/17
Smell today permeated the entire gym floor and women's locker room. Chemicals way too much. Previously on inquiry, I was told they use vinegar and water which is totally fine. Today, HORRENDOUS CHEMICALS made me SICK TO MY STOMACH, SINUSES SMARTING, and EYES BURNING! Was there for about 45 minutes, should have left sooner, but didn't know I would be that effected. I told girls at the desk and left.  It feels like when I was young and went into a pool that was way over-loaded with chemicals... and I never even went close to the pool area. 

Hours Later... Still feeling really bad... nauseous, eyes are red and still burning. Can't get the smell out of my sinuses. Feels like Chlorine poisoning!

Gym is good, but the sales reps are relentless and deceitful.  You'll be quoted a different price depending who you ask.  Wish they had standard and transparent pricing and got rid of the sales reps altogether.  Hire people to maintain the gym properly rather than hiring people to hound us!

One of the older LA Fitness clubs I have been to. It's a good club and I appreciate having it close to go to but I put it at the bottom of all the LA Fitness clubs I have been to out of about 10 clubs. It's the only club I have been to in California.

Great gym, friendly staff, clean environment. They're equipment is a little outdated. But I love coming here for their yoga classes. They offer a ton of different activities! Racket ball, pickup volley ball games and basketball games, an array of different classes ranging from water aerobics to boot camp! And it's a great way to get out there, be healthy, proactive and meet new people!
