"Josh" is really pushy, and started texting me with offers completely unsolicited. He claims that a member gave him my phone number (though I live 14 HOURS AWAY) And when I asked who, he was really shady and wouldn't tell me. This is a pretty sketchy way to do business.

If you're looking to get screwed over by these lying salesdog LA Fitness always seem to hire, you're in the right place. i came here looking for anew gym since I got it recommended from a friend and wanted to test it out. My previous gym, the YMCA had always offered a free 5 day trial for new guests just to let them test the waters and see if they like it and that is what I asked for LA Fitness. That is what I went in for, but the salesmen were very vigorous with their sales pitch and had charged my credit card even when I had not agreed to as I only wanted to do the free trial and potentially sign up later on (as I did like the gym) but after getting ripped off for my money, safe to say, it's a big waste of money. The management sucks, the sales tactics are meant to screw members over as they are working off commissions, and the sanitation guidelines they use is very unhygienic. Worst gym I've ever came to visit. There's a reason why all the employees only work for a few months and quit. The GM who tried reselling me even admitted he didn't like his job either. Says a lot about LA Fitness if you ask me...

Sales people will say anything to get you to sign up for personal trainer. If for any reason you want to cancel they will give you run around and lots of excuses.

The equipment and layout of the gym is awesome. They offer a lot of services and have almost all the extracurriculars a gym can offer. The only reason that it does that get five stars is because they gym is often left a mess. Dumbbells not put back. Weights left on the floor. Bars and ropes left all over the place. And, more often than not, a while host of moaners, groaners, screamers, and weight slammers. This isn't a reflection on the gym staff and management necessarily but a window into a lot of the clientele and what you can expect here.

I have been going to LA Fitness Bridgeville and Robinson since they opened. They offer a great variety of classes for all levels. Darlene O is THE BEST Bodyworks plus abs instructor and Erika's Zumba class works it ALL!! My one complaint is the pool at Bridgeville seems to have mechanical problems and is closed a lot and the bathroom is not very clean. I don't like the pool set up at Robinson - not enough lanes and too dark but the restrooms and shower are clean.
