Like a lot of the other reviewers out there, I chose this gym because it has a spa/pool. The work out area itself is fairly clean, as is the pool and spa. The restrooms on the other hand are filthy. Someone had a pretty explosive #2 in one stall and it was left there long enough for it to be dried and caked. Otherwise OK gym, they need to work on their restroom cleanliness.

This venue struggles some with maintenance.   Light bulbs stay dark for months on end, showers are not always clean first thing in the morning.  Machines may be scheduled for repair for several weeks.  That being said, I like going there.   The people are friendly, and there is a good mix of people working out.  I have been to other LA sites in the area, and Henrietta is my  "go to".

Disappointed in the cleanliness - or lack thereof! Bathrooms often have clogged toilets with wet toilet papers on the ground. Gross. I would have expected more. Planet Fitness has been much cleaner in my experience and significantly less cost. Makes me wonder what we pay for. Water fountains often broken and facing the wrong way so that you get wet when pressing the button. The gym is VERY hot temperature-wise, uncomfortably so. Basic amenities seem to be missing, like easy cleaning wipes for the machines. I often go to a machine to find the water bottle holders filled with tissues, water, or other garbage! Come on guys. The LA fitness in my old town was SO much better run and better kept - it felt so much more high class than this garbage pit.

I'm new to all this but I went to la fitness today and the place was beautiful I loved how organized it was and everything. But walking in through the door I felt so uncomfortable the two young girls sitting at the front desk just stared at me as I walked in without any greeting I had to speak first to get them to start talking. When I asked about the facility and membership they both looked at each other like they had no idea how to answer the question than I asked for a tour which lasted 2 minutes yes 2 minutes just imagine a 2 minute tour we didn't walk anywhere she just sat at the desk and pointed to where everything was. She kept talking about how bad planet fitness is how planet fitness does things differently and than, she went on to give me the price of the membership which for me I can afford it but I still think it's to expensive on top of the personal trainer which is not including in your membership that's around 3 to 4 hundred dollars a month that's more than my car insurance and car loan combine. I went to planetfitness and had a different experience but it was a good one I was greeted as I walked in and lady behind the desk was very helpful she set me up with an appt. to see a personal trainer and a member ship for a very low price. Like I said I'm new to this IDK the different between planet fitness and la fitness but I chose Planet Fitness not because of the great price but because of the friendly environment.

It's not bad but I decided to change the gym to do the basic equipment they have. So the star lose is due to that but great staff!
