I have a order that I have placed for 20 yrs... they charge more for adding or removing like cheese onions beans n so on. But when u pay 18 bucks for 1 person because I didn't want beans.. I should get no beans.. it looked like I asked for extra.. very irradiated n disappointed.. it was a to go order.. waste of 20 bucks

Lets start this by saying La Frontera WAS my favorite place to eat after a weekend of riding at the dunes. 

I pre-ordered 4 meals with a side of rice and beans, and when I arrived 15 minutes later the meals had not yet been started. After a 30 minute wait listening to the employees talk about how slow their day is, the food was brought to the front and had clearly been over-microwaved in the non-microwavable containers. The "Steak fajitas" that were ordered with no onions were smothered in onions and had only 5 tiny pieces of meat. (Yes 5 TINY pieces - and no tortillas) I was told that due to my "large order" (4 plates) they combined the large side orders of rice and beans into one container in a big mixed mess that the waitress had to apologize for. The cheese and sauce on the smothered burritos were old and hard, and the list for this experience goes on and on. . .  The rice was hard, the tortilla chips were old and very stale, there weren't any beans or cheese in the smothered burritos only a smothered rolled tortilla, the meals that were supposed to have onions came without onions and so on.

What a joke! Lost a long time customer tonight due to poor quality of food on repeated occasions now. Will not ever go back! Save your money and your appetite!!!

Really want to give this place more stars, good food, but their salsa is lacking.
