Ruben I thought seems like a real nice man but after 2 years of promising to pay me for the work I did on a project, I can only say I am so disappointed in his lies.  He even sent me a check that bounced. Ive been so understanding and patiant with his situation.  I am sure he owes a lot of others money.   I worked on a big home with him and the workers are sloppy and had no respect for the homeowner even after the owners themselves and the architect put signs up for the workers to see and many meetings asking them to not leave their trash around and to respect the other subs.  Now I see he has a new company and is going by his name Ruben Berton High End Construction,  he has an office in Coronado, Ca and has a lien against him at the Coronado Cays.  Beware of doing business with this company.  There a ton of great Builders in San Diego so stay clear of this one.   When people don't pay the workers that make them who they are is just not fair.

This company uses inexperienced workers with the worst cheap materials. Did a project that was to be done in three months it took over a year to completed with delays debris left all over the property. Very poor quality construction we still have alot of flaws we are trying to get fixed crooked wall, garage doors that do not work patched up exterior he never comes to the job and hires inexperienced guys off the street to work on your property. Beware!
