The LA Metro tries to get people around this city. While the bus drivers don't get into vehicle accidents, they are gruff, do not keep passengers informed of delays, and just drive. Buses sometimes just disappear from the map just when they are supposed to arrive, and they will keep passengers sitting at stops for 10-20 minutes on a regularly serviced route. There is a reason why ridership is struggling and people would rather drive or use paid ride sharing apps than use this service. Fare may be cheap, but it takes a long time to use this crawling service, even when traffic is minimal on the road.

L.A. Metro in all of its entirety is crawling failure. It is the most dangerous transportation I have ever been in. It's danger lies in its incompetence to synchronize its communication when a train breaks. This, when it happens not only delays connections to buses, but put people in great danger specially when your customers are catching their last bus at midnight. Not only do people linger in the streets figuring out how to get home safely, anxious and desperate, this entire experience becomes a 4 hour ordeal. I am currently in this predicament. The trip was supposed to be 1 hour and 15 minutes, I left at 11:50 from Hollywood and Vine. I am struck at Westlake and McArthurpark. It's now 12:38 This has always been the greatest problem, and when asking questions to your employees they give the death stare. The L.A. Metro only provides replacements of the line that its on, but it does not extend its service if you need to go to its outskirts. So now I have missed all the buses that would get me home. I have to wait till 5:00 a.m.for the next bus, to go home which will take 1 hr. And 15 minutes and go back to work. I am still stuck on the Red Line. As I sit on a train, the vagrants and mentally ill, are becoming agitated. It's like a trap, waiting for danger. The metro is a joke. Oh, now I have to pay double on my fare, because the window of doing a transfer has now passed. It's like stealing money from the poor.

It is how I commute every day. Way better than dealing with traffic and saves you gas.

The trains run frequently, but the elevator is sometimes very dirty. 🙀

It'll get you there but it's not very pleasant. My seat happened to be wet with urine. I didn't realize it until it was too late and my pants were wet. Lucky me!
