The best authentic mexican food in east Texas!!!! It's just a little hole in the wall that brings amazing flavor, very worth the drive to downtown kilgore.

Just like abuelitas kitchen... So comfy and the food is so delicious and yummy. I absolutely loved the feel, and the food.

The best in east Texas it's all home made from soups,  to tacos, rice beans everything is delicious no tex mex .like my grandma use to say she puts her foot in it!

Before eating here I thought that Taco Bueno and Dairy Queen tacos were the best, but after my best friend took me to this "off the beaten path/hole in the wall" taqueria I now know those aren't even close to authentic tacos and eat here VERY frequently. The restaurant area is tucked away in the back of the store and as soon as you walk in you can tell you're going to get some great food. Food is cooked fresh right in front of you in an open kitchen. Be sure to ask for chips and salsa (both green and red sauce are delicious and very spicy) and I would personally recommend pastor or barbacoa tacos. Ladies who work in the kitchen are friendly and attentive. Hands down the only authentic mexican taco place to eat at in Kilgore.
