I would even like to give it zero stars. There is one very rude librarian and you can't find any seating. She would yell at you if you even try to sit on the floor. It's very packed cuz of the students so the least you can do is let some of us try to have time to do things. Hell we even move for anyone to pass by. I really don't like staying there for long periods of time.

Although this is a small library, they seem to have a great summer reading program for kids because I see a lot of activity and excitement with the youth which I think is awesome. I've been coming in daily for about a month and I've experienced the resources the library offers. They serve a diverse community. Unfortunately, I have to say the staff and/or volunteers are not friendly. They often do not make eye contact with visitors, do not acknowledge people coming in and out, and they rarely smile. If you ask them a direct question they are helpful. Otherwise, try getting a friendly smile or a greeting and you'll be out of luck I'm sorry to say. One may be put off by this but it's still worth visiting the library.

#FirstReviewFriday Part of the Orange County Public Libraries which you can use the same library card. Go to OCPL dot org Let me just tell you in advance, this place is comparable to a hole in the wall restaurant. It's small, there's a small lot next to the police station, there's only 2-3 librarians who works here. But you're not here for that are you? You're here to get your learning on so what's great about here is that if you're in the toddler age, they have story book readings once a month. They have activities for kids once in awhile as well. Currently, before Nov 15, bring your kids in under 12 and read 15 books, your kid can earn up to 3 Inn and Out burgers. As for the items to borrow here, this is one of the largest places that has Japanese books. Now I can't read a whole lot of Japanese but my dad loves this place. There's always something for him here. For me, there is a small section of DVDs, probably half of that of Cypress Library. However, after exploring the titles, it seems they have more box sets and more updated movies (even bluerays!) than that of Cypress. Just note that these are 7 days and are not renewable. This place doesn't look like a million bucks like the Cerritos Library but it sure does have enough of what I need. Most of these activities I described earlier won't be shown on their website so do yourself a favor and come in here. Oh, once in awhile you'll be able to find books for sale here for cheap as well. They are usually left outside by the bookdrop. #FirstReviewFriday
