The associates Amanda D and Michael T were very attentive and helpful! Michael was actually able to show me a bunch of different options for me as far as their selection of recliners and he was more than happy to demonstrate the functionality of the recliners; he even went into detail with common misconceptions and issues people face when purchasing a new piece of furniture. For example: he mentioned that most people who have issues with the comfort level of the back side of most La Z Boy recliners can actually adjust how hard or soft they need to push on the back to get into reclining position with the turn of a couple simple knobs on the bottom. He also showed how most models have removable backs to make it easier moving furniture around the house which I really appreciated.

As my husband and I browsed, Dawn was very friendly by warmly introducing herself and laughing at my husband's jokes. She referred to us by name and maintained an upbeat, relaxed dialogue. She stopped what she was doing to help us, listened attentively to our interests, and was able to simply the process and get us exactly what we wanted in the time frame we needed. She also helped us work with the manager to secure a better price.

After shopping at two other stores, representing two other brands, my sons and I walked into the La-Z-Boy Outlet on Churchman’s Road in Newark, DE, and the difference was immediately obvious. The showroom was tidier, the displays were more tasteful, and as soon as we sat down on the first sofa we tried, the quality was clearly better. This wasn’t a surprise. Our family has a house full of La-Z-Boy pieces, already. I was surprised and tickled to see an associate I had been acquainted with personally many years ago (Caryn Dolan) and we had a great time catching up; she was patient and really helpful. She understood what we were looking for, worked within our budget, and found a way for us to have our pieces in time for a gathering we were having on short notice. The only way Caryn could have been more helpful is if she had offered to clean my house for me before the party! Ha! It was a great experience and I look forward to enjoying our new pieces for many years, as we have our others.

Caryn was very helpful to us and gave us great ideas that we weren’t even thinking about from a design perspective. You can tell she really know the products inside and out. Once we made our final selection the checkout process was fast and Smooth. Appreciated the great customer service!!

Dawn was very friendly and helpful.  Not pushy at all, and she offered lots of suggestions.  We loved working with her, and the rest of the staff were also very friendly.  Definitely recommend!
