Absolutely spankin' love this school! I don't even have enough words!! Nice teachers for once! SpecED classes are very helpful!! I love my english teacher, my biology teacher, algebra, PE, Health, and art!! I absolutely loved tagging along with Dalia in PE. I was first introduced to her in PE class and there's nice students. I've not seen a single fight here either. That was a problem at my first high school. A fight breaks out at lunch and every student runs in the direction the fight is, insisting they get it on video despite the fact that the school clearly stated that recording fights was not allowed as well as posting them online. Haven't seen anything like that here!!

My daughter is in the pre-sngineering program, and the program is demanding, but I feel it gets you ready for college. The principal is good and the support staff seems to be very good as well, and respond to emails promptly. They do a good job getting the kids ready for the standardized tests as well. The homework is sometimes pretty excessive, but it depends on your courseload. Lafayette can be as challenging as you want it to be. A lot depends on your student. The school also offers a ton of extracurricular activities, clubs, etc. Overall this is a very good high school with a lot going for it.

Graduated from here, in 2015. A great school, amazing teachers, and teachers know how to make education something fun to learn.

I find the racist schoolwork they are giving students completely inappropriate! Life is hard enough for our children, without having racism shoved down their throats by the teachers!

Love this school! Great teachers, great students, great classes. First public school I ever attended, and it's an amazing institution. ❤️ Probably the best school in the district.
