A great place to spend a summer afternoon.  Large pool, 2 kids pools, low and high dive, rock climbing wall in diving well, 2 huge water slides.  Air conditioned recreation center with table games, basketball court and shuffle board. Volleyball court, tennis courts, outdoor basketball court.  Boat Wells and loading ramp, a National Coney Island food shack, many pavilions and picnic tables, large playground for the kids.  Locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and have separate changing rooms. The lifeguards at the pool are well trained and professional.  Classes are offered over the summer from sports, to swim lessons, to crafts. This place has everything.

It's not a park. It's a country club for the residents of the highly closed off community known as Grosse Pointe. It's in Saint Clair Shores so the city of SCS said "Alright, pay us taxes and we'll let you have this land for a park" after Elanor Ford sold it to them. GP said, "Ok, but you're also going to give us police and fire dept services". SCS agreed for some stupid reason and now there's no ROI here at all. Completely wasted. Grosse Pointe is the only city in Macomb to not join the library co-op as well. What gives? Don't want gross poor people mucking up your beautiful parks and libraries?

A great park on beautiful lake St Clair. It's unfortunate it's 4 residents only. I'm glad I'm a resident. Be it private or public waterfront property, landowners continually limit access 2 resources that everyone should be entitled 2 enjoy. People put up fences so others can't see the lake! That's selfish and ridiculous.

This is across the street from me, i love tis little park. Kids playing. People fishing, nice and relaxed. The snell of bbq. Yummmm

I was MISGUIDED by Google Maps to go this park, but couldn't enter. The lady in the gate showed me the exit, expressionlessly. How can a park be private?! It is not a park than, it should mark as members only club! Its a shame that you can not enjoy the Lake Saint Clair's beauty from that place, unless you are a Gross Poine Woods resident!

I'm sure that, city will not change their policy, so Google should change the listing of this place as private.
