Our 43ft motorcoach was a challenge to get to our site in the campground, but we had a great time exploring the region in the car we tow. We hope to return again in the future.

Lake Pemaquid Campground is probably the worst campground I have ever been in. It's completely overcrowded. The sites are tiny. We have a 29 ft camper and it barely fit on our site and left us with no place to safely park our truck! The people who run the firetruck and hayride have no regard for you driving on the one lane road. Unsupervised children roaming all over the campground, (PROBABLY WHAT LEAD TO THE 2009 MOLESTATION OF A CHILD). The office staff is extremely rude!!! The entertainment at night is horrendous, parents were staggering drunk as 2 year olds were everywhere. Topped it off when we saw a mother with a baby monitor on the picnic table along side her cooler full of beer!!! In my opinion this place needs to be closed permanently. Before someone is seriously hurt or killed!!! We will never return to this dump!!!!!!

Really great place for families especially with children. Had lobster from the cafe and it was as good as any place in Maine. I have a few recommendations, require checkins to turn off their vehicles while checking in and ditch the gasoline blower. The blower creates more dust and obnoxious noise.

This place was more packed than Walmart on foodstamp day! They have campsites so close together we were awakened by cellphones in the middle of the night. A camper 2 sites away heard and responded to a question asked at normal volume in our tent! The roads are in disrepair. The Jacuzzis and pool are overrun with unsupervised children. The staff of the campground were almost none existent. The beach is considered part of the lakefront campsites, so the rest of us are relegated to a 10x10ft square next to the boat launch. It is definitely kid oriented... like 'Lord of the Flies'!
