I have been unhappy with Dr. Wait and her practice for some time but I decided to give her another chance. Big mistake. She keeps taking new patients only to, once they are established , make them wait three months to see her. The scheduling staff are very inefficient, if you get nurse Suzanne you are definitely out of luck, they take forever to refill your meds or do not refill them. Today, after waiting half an hour in the waiting room, I had Suzanne taking me in and when I mentioned that it would be nice to have somebody warning me that there was a long wait for my scheduled appointment, she told me in her normal arrogant tone that I was still going to wait more. I had gone all the way to the University of WA for a consult as my case is too complicated for dr. Wait, according to even her, and not only she did not see the information they sent her after three days of tests, but they LOST THEM!! Of course arrogant Suzanne did not care, she said that they probably did not send them. Well, UW sent me a copy of the fax report stating they successfully sent them. When I called to fire the practice and ask for my records, they told me that they want 25 dollars per page for my records. I came to find out after consulting with other specialists and hearing some of her vague answers to my questions, that she is not that updated as she pretends to be. If you are really sick and need a gastroenterologist to take care of you, do not settle for this practice.

Dr. Cynthia Wait not only has the education and years of experience in her field, she also continues to improve her skills by staying up to currentlyon the latest studies, procedures android research findings. I originally met her when my daughter was referred to see a G.I. M.D. concerning an adolescent gastric situation. She treated my daughter as if she was one of her children. A couple years later, I was referred to see a G.I.. Having already seen her compassion and knowledge inaction, I immediately set an appointment; which resulted in a few procedures and lab work resulting in a diagnosis of Crohns Disease. By catching things early , we have been able to avoid countless surgical
