Reviews

The older reviews are referring to the manager's creepy husband who is not longer there.  A very nice woman managed the park and her husband was just a hangers oner, who mooched off the government.    She unfortunately passed away and he was promptly removed from the property, nothing but a drunk.   New managers have been there several years now and the place is looking good.  Trees trimmed way back, very clean, and bright.... hope it around for years to come.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights recently.  We liked that the site was quiet, had a great view of the lake and allowed our dogs.  Except for one night we were the only non permanent residents.  The bathroom and shower facility was nice and clean (though there was no paper towels or toilet paper -- apparently you had to provide your own-- wasn't even a holder for toilet paper).  We were looking for a nice quiet place to go and this place did suit that need.  I do wish I could have swam with my dogs but there was no swimming allowed.  Never tried the laundry facility while there.  The grounds were well kept and the trees had been trimmed back.  There was a little road noise (we could see I-90 from our campsite) as well as boat and jet ski noise but that's expected on the lake.  We were also hoping for wifi and when we inquired about it we were told it wasn't working.  Overall we were happy with our experience.

We stayed 1 night in Oct 2013-Not impressed! Luckily only the one night otherwise we would have packed it up & left. NOTHING to do. We sat on the one bench for a few minutes looking over the hill that goes down to the dirty water & dock. Took a walk thru the mobile home park to a little gas station/store place. Came back, went inside for the night to watch movies. There was NO grass next to us for our chairs or pup, only a concrete pad. That would have been awful during the hot weather! Won't be going back..
