Plenty of space and architecture to hangout, mess around, and even act like an oversized kid. Benches galore. A stadium sometimes hosts entertainment while the whole park is occupied by consumer owned businesses. Not to mention the real widely sold products one can find there.

While fun during Spring and Summer, the park has recently become a gathering point in later afternoon and evenings for drug sellers, users, and gang related activities.  Police are doing their best to curb this but can't be there and still maintain patrol, traffic enforcement, and respond to calls...so it persists.
