Lakeshore Bike is the only full service bike shop on the Lakefront Path. The Shop on the Lake is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and by appointment year-round!
We're also now open at North Ave Beach House!!

I have used a number of bike shops from major retailers to the small shops and was very impressed in how quickly they tended to my bike, how affordable the overhaul tune up was, and how easily everything went down. I would highly recommend taking your bike in for a tune up here.

Overpriced accessories, owner very knowledable but when he's not there no one feels like doing work. Everything is always "locked up down there and nobody has the key"

In preparation for a trip to florida, I brought my bike in for a tune up a couple of months ago. When I got down to florida, I was sadly disappointed to find several problems with my bike. Not only were the brakes not adjusted, but now they squeak loudly, the kickstand was not tightened, and air was not even put in the tires! Was anything done at all?????

What you see it's what you pay. Helmet and lock included. I was a little late back but owner waved any extra charge. Friendly and efficient process.

The service here is amazing. Normal bike shops tend to charge around 50 or more for a simple tune up and sometimes involves leaving the bike. However, this place is tiny so its often easy to miss. But, the owner is really good and knows his stuff. After renting a bike from them to try out, i decided to buy a road bike here, and they threw in free tune ups for the life of the bike. Everytime I need a tune up or if i have any questions, I just bring the bike over and they take a look at it and fix it up no questions asked, often within a few minutes.
