We planned a last minute get-a-way to Lake Michigan and contacted Lakeshore Lodging.  They could not have been more helpful.  They found a great place that fit our time frame, desires and needs.  Though we arrived after office hours their customer service was still apparent.  They gave great directions and written procedures and we were "vacationing" just minutes after we arrived at our rental.  I would highly recommend Lakeshore Lodging and they will be my first call next time I want to enjoy Lake Michigan! (which I highly recommend as well)

We rented a property for 3 nights for extended family get get together. We were alerted the first morning during our stay that there would  be movers coming to get stuff out of the house. They showed up at around 9an and didn't leave until around 2pm. It was very disruptive having them there. Coming in and out of the basement while my children napped and the other kids played pool. We had to move our cars while they loaded the truck and that annoyed the next door neighbor since we had to go a bit into his driveway. The other issue was the hot tub. We called twice since it wasn't working and even though two men came a looked at it, it never worked. The hot tub was one of the reasons we chose that house. Looking back , we would not have chosen this location if we had known what was to happen. The price was too high to have such disruptions.

We were highly disappointed with the service provided by the staff once we were there and encountered a significant problem with the home and even further disappointed by the lack of interest demonstrated when we attempted to discuss our concerns after our experience.  While the home itself was nice, the lack of professional follow-up both during our rental week and after it has been frustrating.
