I came to Sally at Lakeshore PT after a long and frustrating with another Physical Therapy service in Chicago. Despite spending a lot of time at their clinic and also trying to do my many exercises at home, my right knee did not feel better. Sally, upon completing her initial exam and hearing about my previous PT history, focused on my knee, discovered a former trauma that was not recognized before, simplified my PT exercises to a targeted and shorter routine that was realistic. I could do them at home every day. Besides the manual treatment, Sally was also personally available to show and help me do exercises at the clinic, revise my routine following her observations. Lauren, the exceptional office manager, was very helpful with scheduling and insurance issues. She was always positive and patient. I gladly graduated from Lakeshore PT, something that I had started thinking was not possible. My right knee has no more scar tissue and I can play tennis pain free.

Having had decent but not great therapy at another facility, I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I found was that Sandy Fansler not only dealt with my range of motion problems but the scar tissue as well. She is also a simply delightful person who makes hearing, "You don't need my services any longer" bittersweet. I recommended that a friend go for entirely different physical problems relating to cancer treatment. Assigned to another therapist, she can't speak highly enough about her experience.
