They moved from down the street next to Peet's. Nothing special just the same stuff as before. New space is more clean and AC control environment. No changes in ownership, but daughter is grown up now doing online delivery for the family business. It's one of those shop that carry a little bit of evening. Fresh black mission figs is what I usually get here and I'm know for that. Is there a basket under counter for me?

I love my Lakeshore produce store! It's 10min away from home and always good for last minute shopping on groceries before making lunch/dinner when it's too late/too far to go to Whole Foods or catching up on organic fruits and veggies if I miss my beloved farmers market on Grand. I usually come here for indian things like spices, curry leaves, small green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, lemons, limes etc but also for other regular veggies such as small persian cucumber, organic tomatoes, organic salad leaves, organic green onions etc etc. Occasionally/rarely buy dairy products like milk and eggs. But most of all, I love it's a family run shop where you get to meet the daughter, the mother and the uncle and they are always nice and friendly and helpful. Nothing better than supporting your local neighbours. Their prices are pretty affordable compared to big chains like whole foods. Have never tried their pad thai and spring rolls but always been tempted to :) Maybe one day!

Good selection given the small space at this location since they have moved from down the street. Most basic items are available with some nice surprises. So glad to have in the neighborhood.
