This is a great place to bring the family or to take your sweetheart out for a fun date night. The admission is ridiculously cheap, so there's no reason to not make a visit. Some of the attractions are a little older, but the vintage feel about the place is what makes it amazing. I believe days and hours are limited, so make sure you check to see if they are open, before you go. Have fun!

I can't even lie ... a lot of the complaints are valid. No doubt about that but honestly that's part of why I love it. You can go get a ton of cheap fair food and ride amusement park rides from the 1920's- 70's it's basically the best place ever. It's nostalgia at its best, and you can take all your friends and their kids without busting your bank account.

Fun great family time, without spending an arm and a leg. Great alternative to bigger amusement parks that are so expensive. Old school, buy well worth the family time.

As an employee I completely recommend this park not only for the deep rich history there but also for the family atmosphere that comes from a family owned park. Growing up I have many fond memories of Lakeside and as an employee hope that in some small part I help impart that same feeling to others.

Last time I went here I thought some of the rides were going to fall apart which scared the hell out of me. It also didn't help when I seen a piece of a ride in that lake. I loved the crystal maze though, very memorable. I'm probably not going to go back there but it was fun at the same time since a few rides had their exceptions. But I guess the price for this place was reasonably good for my wallet.
