Lakeside provided great service to us! Our RV had broken down on the highway, we rolled into their park and we were pretty much stranded there until we could figure out how to get it fixed. On top of that we were stranded there for the night before Christmas Eve til after Christmas! The managers took such great care of us. They gave us a good deal, were so helpful to fill up our propane, and even dropped off plates of Christmas goodies and a DVD for our family for Christmas. We had a wonderful experience there, and are extremely grateful for the help they gave a stranded family. 😊

This is the most beautiful campground I've seen. Trees every where. Right next to a river and on the both sides of the river are trails. The people are nice and friendly.

This is access to the Provo River bike trail. There is a restroom here and it is open during the winter. Handicap parking. about two and a half miles east of the lake. Great place to run walk or bike.

It’s a very nice campground, walking distance to Utah Lake State Park. It is well maintained and has a large, fenced dog run. Some things to know (not necessarily negative depending on what you like): 1. RVs are packed in tight in alternating spaces so that you could literally be window-to-window with you and your neighbor’s slide-outs nearly touching; 2. No kind of rug or outdoor carpet is allowed since they are trying to keep their grass healthy. I get it, but since it’s winter time and there are leaves all over the ground, without an outdoor carpet it made it harder to keep debris out of the rv; 3. Since the RVs are so close, no kind of open flame is allowed. So much for making s’mores and socializing around a campfire (too bad this wasn’t disclosed ahead of time on their web site). It’s definitely good for an overnight stop since it’s not far off the highway. There are a lot of long term residents, some with their own rules posted governing their little piece of paradise. I’d come back for its great location, but it’s not the camping experience I prefer.
