In September 2016 I had went in to see the surgeon for severe pain in my lower abdomen and knew it wasn't constipation due to having suffered from in the past.....went to er prior to having to been referred by er doctor due to some findings on my CT scan and looked like a possible obstruction possibly causing the pain a week prior to see Dr Jay Lenz a week following the er visit or so and the pain kept getting worse to the point of not being arrested to barely walk into my appointment and barely being able to walk out of this appointment being in such severe pain....Dr Jay Lenz had treated it as constipation and to take miralax a few times a day and then go back in a month for a recheck with him....however by the end of that week I was in such severe pain that I could hardly breathe due to the pain being so bad that I called my mom to get a ride up to my general surgeon out of town due to knowing something was definitely wrong even child birth couldn't even touch the pain I was having ....got up to my general surgeon they done a chest x Ray then ordered a CT scan due to having free air in my abdomen and found out that I was going into emergency surgery right then and there due to my small intestine had perforated and I was leaking internally for quite some time and by the time I had surgery when the surgeon got done he had informed me that I had less than six hours to live and the surgeon in staples hospital had majorly misdiagnosed the situation.....Dr Jay Lenz didn't even order any x rays knowing that the pain had gotten significantly worse within the past week or so and if I would have listened to him I would have lost my life....made a follow up appointment once I had enough strength and my feeding tube removed and told him that he made a major mistake and misdiagnosed me not to throw it in his face but to hope to help him to be a better surgeon so the same mistake wouldn't hopefully be made with another patient ....however once I told him his response to me was it was a mistake and at least your still here alive and he had no compassion at all whatsoever ...he had also said oh well a mistake is a mistake and my response was to him kindly in hopes that this deadly mistake wouldn't be made again to another patient and that instead of diagnosing it with constipation it would be best to at least order an CT scan or x Ray to be sure nothing major is going on....however he acted like he didn't care and was so cold hearted is what I got out from having dealt with him.....I would recommend that if he would recommend surgery for something to for sure get a second opinion as well as to get a second opinion on second thought on any diagnosis that he may diagnosis to be sure it is correct as with my experience with this surgeon sorry to say but I wouldn't bring my dog to him due to almost have lost my life due to his diagnosis ........

This is the worst place its is currently 2:05 and I'm waiting on my appointment from 12:40. I broke my finger and one would think ahh ok it's a finger...but staples is not adequately equipped for even that. One broken finger led to surgery and pins and serious infection. 2nd surgery for infection and er for a weekend and then 30 days of driving to the hospital for iv infusions!!!!! BUT get this HAHA my finger is still broke...
