Came here for dinner on Friday eve. Made an advanced reservation so we didn’t have to wait. Such a delightful experience, food was excellent and my friends loved theirs dishes. Friendly service, and budget friendly!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
I appreciate the fact that the menu actually distinguishes Northern Thai/Chiang Mai dishes from regular Thai ones. And there are quite a few distinct choices from that region! Nice ambiance and good service. The dishes were beautiful in presentation, and extremely well cooked and flavourful. My only one quibble is having been to Chiang Mai and tried these dishes, I wished the spice and funk level was an option. If you don’t know and haven’t been, you wouldn’t miss anything. The dishes I had were excellent. But I did miss the heat and funkiness of when I was there. I strongly recommend!
This place is phenomenal, I’m still sitting in here after my meal. I takes me right back to all the great food I had in Chiangmai. Super authentic, great service, and they don’t skimp on the spiciness. None of the pretentiousness of some other places, and we practically had the place to ourselves during lunch on a Saturday which is insane.
OMG! The best authentic Northern Thai cuisine in New York! All dishes are so flavorful! The stuff is friendly! Great outside area for dining. Very very recommended place. We’ll definitely come back! Thank you guys for doing such a great job!
The place is small and cozy! It has a great ambience. I felt like eating in upscale street food areas in Asia Not only the food is super, the presentation is beautiful! I ate one of their signature dishes. Highly recommended if you are in the area
Is this place has Michelin star? If not, they should. I went to all the Thai restaurants in NYC which I can’t find many good ones. They all have same menu and taste same. But this restaurant has very unique food and taste amazing. Great staffs, clean bathroom, easy with my 2 yo to dine in!
i had stir fried marinated beef with scarlion, mushroom, onion in brown sauce soy sauce on rice. i like the dish was tasty, and i really like the quality of the Jasmine rice. Nothing can compare with good jasmine rice and its fragrance. Overall the ingredients are fresh and in good quality. Love it. The thai tea, very disappointed, watery and sugary tea, tasteless. I dont like the portion of the milk too. I will not order it again.
The ingredients were very traditional without any extra fluff. The northern style sausage was very authentic. It was nice to see Northern Thai represented in the restaurant scene. The broth for the kenom cheen was very rich and seemed to have been boiled for a long time. Would recommend!
Omg. The food and service is beyond amazing!! My friend from Thailand brought me here for a feast! A feast it is!! So GOOD! Everything is freshly made and super authentic.
I had the Manssaman Curry. This is perfect if you don’t like foods that are too spicy. It was full of flavor, spices and served with rice. Coupled with a Thai Iced Tea you won’t be disappointed. Husband had the Pad Prik Sod Moo. He said it was real good…he’s a man of few words. Restaurant is small and cozy with indoor and outdoor seating located on the corner just a block away from Little Italy. Only negative thing I have to say is the water tasted like it had chlorine in it. 2/10 for the water.
