The mall is a fading industry but it is nice to know a staple of Lansing life is still doing what can be done to stay relevant. The Theater was a huge boon and the restaurants at the wings are better than standard mall fare. The food court definitely needs some revitalizing and some storefronts need to become more than ad space but overall I enjoy my trips to the Lansing Mall. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I just couldn't image Lansing without the Lansing Mall.

Not the place it used to be. Average with nothing special. Theater is fine. A major store closed not long ago and it looked like they'd use that space for traveling shows like electronic dinosaurs. Not using it that way though. Looks like a country bar/restaurant for younger adults. Seems nice from the outside. Some vacancy spots but still plenty of shopping there. Food court is basic with some typical options. Owners need some creative options to revive this mall to it's better days.

Call ahead or look online to see if the store you are looking for is still there. Over the years many retailers have left this location. Many of the stores you expect to find in a mall are not present here but the ones that are left are still consistently neat and clean and well-stocked

Overall Lansing is a small city with 2 malls. I like the Lansing mall. The anchors are sufficient and selection of in mall stores covers a lot of bases - bookstore, sporting goods, niche apparel, etc. Management appears to keep the place pretty well organized and clean. Food court is lacking but there is a plethora of restaurants nearby. This is a good place for a shopping trip.

My grandsons and a friend enjoyed playing chess today. We sometimes play the connect four. Always fun with the large scale.😁
