Frandor is coming back!  There's a sort of vibrancy that's surprising in an old urban mall.  The core contains all the essentials (groceries, hardware, pet supplies, gift shop....) while the periphery includes lots of niche restaurants and stores.  Because it's surrounded by residential neighborhoods, Frandor's existence means that several thousand people live in walkable communities.

Good public transit connections.  24-hour urgent care.  And they seem like a really good neighbor, not imposing on their surroundings.

Traffic can be crazy but has everything you need right in one spot. Convenient and close. Offers a grocery store, a variety of fast food and sit down restaurants. There are a couple of craft stores as well as a hardware for all your creative needs.  Grab your vaping products, grab lunch and get some shopping done all at once!  Stroll around, parking is free.

The shopping center itself has a crowded badly maintained parking lot. Crowded spots and speed humps. Most of the unique businesses have been pushed out by chain store garbage. Kind of amazing they haven't fixed the traffic flow, entrances or exits in 30 years since it's still considered one of the most dangerous driving areas in town.

Frandor is a fun place to shop again... I've shopped there since i was a kid in the 70s... the place went down hill for a while I  the eighties but they reformatted it and have some great new stores and it's fun again. I still miss the Grande Gourmet, though.

Something for everyone. Hardware store for those last minute needs but when no one offers help and cashier expects you to know a price I have an issue. That's your job not mine.
