This is my first time eating more modern Afghan fare. This place has a bib gourmand for good reason - the dishes are fun and tasty. The pastry chef is first rate so make sure to check out the dessert special. We have practically everything vegetarian on the menu (and I did t even miss meat). The dumplings and the eggplant are standouts.

Delicious food. Wonderful vegan options are marked V on the menu! Good cocktails too. Portions are on the small side. My servers have always been great, but the host staff can be kind of snooty; not enough to take away a star. Ask for a table upstairs if you make a reservation (which you should try to do for sure--they get busy).

The food was amazing from the appetizer to main course. The service was friendly, helpful, and phenomenal. The server besides the food was the best part of our dining experience. Can be pretty busy so a reservation is recommended.

Please don't go here if you don't want to dine in the roar of a jet engine. Or two. The food may or not be good, but the din is astonishing. Our server was sweet, but the sound is migraine-inducing and overwhelmingly loud. And, it is really noisy. So I had to leave before having more than a few bites. The menu is nice and the owners confess the recipes are known only to their Mother and the NSA. Cute and probably true, and I want to like these guys. But they could put up a few curtains and add some rugs, and move the tables more than 8 inches apart, but I get that may be the desired vibe for some. But it vibrates, for sure. Beware.

A group of 6 of us dined together. Atmosphere was warm and cozy, a bit loud. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered several dishes for sharing and while they all had great flavor I wasn't especially wowed by any one dish. Cocktails were ok.
