At this time of great sorrow, Larkin provided our family with the greatest love and concern. We felt like they become part of our family.

After my moms sudden and unexpected passing a few weeks ago, my brothers and I were devastated. Walking into a mortuary to plan her funeral felt like an impossible task but Heidi Porter, our funeral director, was amazing. She was very sweet and patient with us and I felt a part of my anxiety ease that day after meeting with her. We had no question that they were taking good care of her leading up to the funeral. We would definitely recommend using Larkin!

We chose Larkin when our son passed away unexpectedly because it was close to our home. The man selling us death stuff was not very professional. The brochure for urns had no pricing, we needed to locate it on another price sheet. We asked for our sons glasses and clothing back but they didn't remember. I liked that they put our son in a freezer so we could have a quick viewing. I wish they would have offered us to dress him or give us a hair clipping. It seems the little details are missing from a big funeral home such as this.

Larkin Mortuary cared for my husband and my family with sensitivity, kindness, and professionalism. Mitch treated us like members of his own family. He walked us through each step and eased my stress. Morgan with AfterCare was sensitive and knowledgeable, taking care of stressful tasks that needed to be done and giving much-needed advice.

Larkin Mortuary continues to be the best in all of Utah. The staff always goes above and beyond to meet our families needs- Regardless how out of the ordinary it may be. Larkin takes care of your loved ones as if it’s their own.

Larkin was amazing to work with. Mom knew what she was doing when she contacted them to pre-plan all her funeral needs! Travis Greenwood was our funeral director and words cannot really express how grateful we are to him for all his help and care during a difficult time. He became part of our family! Soon after the funeral, I got a call from Kirstin from CircleCare…a service offered by Larkin. Kirstin was able to answer questions and help me navigate all the things that needed to be taken care of after mom passed. What a help she was in figuring everything out. We highly recommend the Larkin family for your needs!

My dad passed away suddenly just a couple weeks before Christmas and Larkin was amazing. The facilities are new and gorgeous, the staff is more than phenomenal! They have been so helpful in getting us and our small children through this hard time! They made a hard thing bearable and walked us through everything that needed to be done, went above and beyond to make the services exceptional and have been in contact with us for the aftercare in making sure we are coping in a healthy way. I’m so glad we decided to go with them over the other funeral homes we looked into!!

Both of my parents have passed over the last eight years. When my mom passed in 2011 Nick Larkin helped us with her funeral. Our experience with Nick and Larkin Mortuary was outstanding! The compassion and caring attitude Larkin showed toward our family, made a very difficult time much easier. As a result of our experience with my mother, there was no hesitation in deciding who would take care of my father’s funeral. At his passing, Nick and Larkin Mortuary again stepped up to the plate and treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. They made each step of the funeral process simple and clear, making sure that our wishes we’re honored. I would recommend Larkin Mortuary to anyone who is in need during their time of trial.

Larkin provided a wonderful atmosphere for a funeral.  The chapel area is inviting, similar to what one would expect in LDS temples.  They have a grand piano and organ available.  Tables lined the edge of the hallway as we entered.  We had pictures reflecting different stages from my mother's life at different tables.  It was nice to walk through and recall wonderful memories with those around me.  Larkin staff helped our family organize and put together a funeral at an unexpected time.  The memorial was fitting for the life we came to celebrate and mourn the loss of.

I've had both parents pass away within the last 5 months. My sister and I have worked with Gabe, Karyn, and Angie who have been amazing to work with. I would strongly recommend Larkin during the funeral process. The After Care Guide Karyn gave me, has been extremely helpful to reference a variety of places to contact since my parents have passed.
