Trustworthy, high-quality work - hire again ...for sure!!!! What did he do: Structural Repair - I found a sag in the home and after having a structural engineer take a look and draw up plans, I hired Larkin to do all the repairs. This included removing the flooring and prepping the home for a major structural repair, pouring footings, shoring the home, replacing the rotting beams, putting the floor and flooring back, resetting the cabinets, fixing all the nail pops, dry wall cracks, painting, and cleaning up the big mess made with doing all those things..... How did it go: GREAT! Details: Let's start with this - before I even hired Larkin Remodelers, Derek Larkin walked me through the process I would have to go through to fix my home. Who I needed to look at the home, how to find quotes and everything in between. He spent time worrying about my project when I haven't even asked for a quote. You can't beat that service. After I finally got the drawings from the Structural Engineer - Derek took the time to work with the Engineer to determine if there were alternate paths to make the repair more cost effective. One of the most convenient things with working with Derek is that they are end to end re- modelers. I wasn't just getting the structural repair done - he was able to fix all the other damage caused by a beam needing to be replaced. The house looks better than it did before the damage occurred. I didn't have to hire other contractors to complete the other work. He was very responsive and was able to fit me into his schedule right away. He went above and beyond taking care of other issues in the home because they had the time and resources available. The repair was quick, efficient, and of high-quality. It passed inspections on the first try. The house looks amazing - did I mention they completely cleaned up the mess they made? Working with Derek and his team was enjoyable and comforting. You don't find that with many contractors. They are very responsive and respectful. High-quality work - very trustworthy team!

Always excellent service and work from Larkin. I've had two jobs done by Larkin, both large, on small. The first was the repair of a roof struck by a downed tree. Larkin handled discussions with the insurance estimator and insured the roof was not only replaced, but brought up to modern specifications. The second was resealing old windows which was done in one day. The windows were not only sealed but they look better. I'd recommend Larkin for any major remodeling or improvement job you have. They are dependable, reliable, and excellent craftsmen.

Larkin was recommended to us by a friend when we needed four rooms tiled fast. Another contractor fell through and we had a little over a week to replace four subfloors and lay ceramic tile in the kitchen, two baths and our laundry room. Derek assured me that they could do it on time and even adjusted their schedule to work around family in town that needed to stay at my condo. The crew got done in THREE DAYS. The work is beautiful and the professionalism of the whole team was admirable. I'd highly recommend.

When I was looking into having some painting done around the house a few years ago I came across Larkin Remodelers. After going over the painting and other things I needed done around the house Derek worked with me to get a number of things done. Since then I have gone back to have recessed lighting put in our kitchen, drywall repair after mold remediation, having a custom bathroom put in and now hardwood floors! Every time I go back to get work done they always deliver! Just last year they installed new roof on my father’s house! They really are a one stop shop delivering excellence in every job they do.

Larkin Remodelers helped me handle my tree damage. I had a bad tree damage on my house. My insurance company was being very difficult and didn't want to accept my claim. All the other contractors wanted to charge me through the roof. When I contacted Larkin, Derek responded very fast and walked me through the whole process. He even dealt with my insurance company. His knowledge about all aspects of construction was impressive and he was extremely polite. He went over all my options with me and agreed to repair my home for much less than what anyone else would. I decided to hire Larkin Remodelers and am very pleased with my decision. I would highly recommend this company who is looking for quality work and avoid the hassle.
