Larry J's BBQ Cafe brings the taste of high quality Texas barbeque to Boston, MA! At Larry J's BBQ Cafe, we prepare our meats with all-natural, unadulterated apple and hickory wood. Seasoned with a proprietary blend of herbs and spices, our brisket and pulled pork are smoked for more than 12 hours and the ribs until they pull away from the bone. We are passionate about authentic wood smoked meats. Our mission is to offer an amazing, lip smacking, finger licking, life changing BBQ experience.

the rating is not based on the food because I haven’t tried it. But it’s for the rude customer service. I had driven out of my way to try this place and had called to see if there was anyway I could place the order on the phone and run in to pay since parking is a hot commodity in seaport. The person who I guess was the owner just said “UH NO”. So I asked if there was any where he could recommend to park since I was only getting food to go and he said “nope. Hahahaha Sorry”. If he had been a little more pleasant maybe I would have done extra and parked my car in a garage and paid the hourly rate to try the food, but he didn’t really seem to care.

Not my kind if BBQ, but the service was probably the best I have received in a real long time. 
I wish I got her name, but the woman at the front counter was so helpful and knowledgeable she deserves a shout out.

Food was great, but owner is very rude. Also, spent all night throwing up the probably (cross contaminated) pork. Will never go again.

Treated poorly and rude by Larry. Very inpatient. Ribs were good. Portions were generous.

First I call for simplification of a menu item description, then i get talked down to (and by talked down to, i mean when i asked my question, the person on the phone just repeated in a mocking tone the exact description on the menu). I should have known then, this might not be the best place to order from. It was close, it was raining, and we ordered anyways. I went to pick my order up. I presume the the man handing me our food was owner of the establishment. Whilst walking away i remember that my wife requested ketchup. I go back to request the extra condiments. The man proceeds to smile (in a truly sarcastic manner and says) " Don't you think I remembered to put some in there?" That sir was not the issue (in fact thank you for your generous five packs of ketchup for two large orders of fries). It was at this point in time, I took my food and left. Your attitude (like your food), was not pleasant.
