Las Vegas City Hall is the center of municipal government for the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is located downtown, with its main entrance on Main Street.HistoryThis building replaced the former building which had been used since 1973. Built by Forest City Enterprises, the highly-sustainable building features several environmentally friendly features, such as 33 energy producing solar trees as well as rooftop solar panels that reduce energy costs. A programmable LED light display on the front facade can display various patterns at night.

Everything is awesome in Vegas, the places and all the restaurants were good but what I don't like are the dirty streets and sometimes the weather. Most of everything is great. I love Vegas

Visiting City Hall is a lesson in learning as if to transport back to a time when you were a young university student listening to college professors teaches life's lessons. Each visit, I learn an abundant amount of government history, policy, legislation, behavior, psychology, especially today, September 7, 2016, the City Hall Council meeting with Mayor Goodman became very emotional with a community in Las Vegas fighting over two horses, a career, training, zoning, water rights, then before that a giant USA flag was honored by the Nation of Patriots, a Nevada State Trooper saved three young children on the freeway, before buying them ice cream at the local grocery store because they were hot and hungry. Cancer awareness, the speaker began to cry as she spoke of the work of local heroes helping to fight cancer. Today the Senator and former Governor came into the Chambers. Tomorrow morning at 8 am, Mayor Goodman is going to speak to people helping with addiction and recovery. These are doctors, specialists, Nevada leaders, and each time I sit and listen at City Hall, I learn volumes from their interactions. Honestly, Thomas Chee
