Laughlin Library is a branch of Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

Story

The largest of the rural facilities is the Laughlin Library. It opened in 1994 after operating out of a storefront since 1987. With 15,000 square feet and over 70,000 volumes, this beautiful library overlooks the community of Laughlin. There is a large meeting room, small conference room and an excellent gallery. It offers free wireless Internet access.

Printed paperwork, filled it out, scanned it back to email all while my daughter played and enjoyed the kids area. For being a non-resident they took great care of my whole family.

Nice small library. Private meeting rooms if you need them. The staff was very nice and happy to assist you.

This is just the best library, my husband and I used to walk all of our students at Bennett ES weekly to check out books, attend made for us presentations, etc. As a retired reader I still love to go there. Awaiting cataract surgery I was having trouble reading the pages, even then the library pulled through for me. I now mostly checkout audiobooks online, even though both eyes can read now. They have spoiled me once again. The building is lovely, the location is beautiful, and I still know a few of the employees who have always treated me well 25 years later!

Free. Friendly.Peaceful. It's easy to relax or get work done here. They have nice events here from job fairs to musicians.

Staff helpful to all. Computers are usually available printers and copiers well maintained. In a little town it's a great library. I donated about 50 cds and some dvds that went into availability immediately made my day. Great selection of magazines as well.
