Good fish fry, a bit pricey and nothing special. Service was fine, nice folks  !!  I had the all you can eat pollack and my companion had the cod. If you live nearby it's fine.

Great food, always fresh and hot. A bit pricey, but great value. Service is friendly and timely. Good folks in a nice atmosphere.

First off, there was a lot of hype surrounding their fish fry. The service was fantastic. Lots of attention and everything was done quickly and in a friendly manner.
I ordered the combo, asking about their potato pancakes. The people raved about them (waitress and someone at the table). It wasn't cooked properly. Gummy and a bit undercooked, virtually no oil, and very unimpressive.
As far as the fried fish. Only one was cooked well. It seemed as if they were cooked all together. The thinner perch was overcooked, dry and a bit tough. The cod that was thicker was ok. The shrimp seemed as if it was the typical cafeteria type butterflied shrimp. No where near the level of hype.
Typically, I'm not that critical of restaurants, but when they're hyping themselves as the best. They're advertised as such, so I will hold them to that standard.
Sorry, but it is nowhere near the best. There are many better.
