Laurel Land Memorial Park – Ft. Worth was originally opened as Park Lawn Cemetery with just 25 acres in the early 1920s. The Widner/Roberts family purchased the cemetery in 1942 and created the Widner private family mausoleum, which is still owned by the Widner family. The park was purchased by Stewart Enterprises Inc. in 1986, and is today owned by an affiliate of Service Corporation International. Of the cemetery’s nearly 150 acres today, 49 have not yet been developed, allowing for the cemetery to serve families of the Ft. Worth area well into the future. Laurel Land is a perpetual care cemetery.

The well-maintained cemetery grounds offer visitors a serene haven for reflection and remembrance. Laurel Land Memorial Park – Ft. Worth offers many choices for memorialization, including traditional ground burial, indoor or outdoor mausoleum entombment and private family estates.

The cemetery features picturesque lawns and gardens including two veterans areas and the Garden of Reflections. The Chapel of the Chimes, a chapel commemorating the freedom of the press, is also on the grounds of the cemetery and is a replica of St. Paul's Church in Mount Vernon, New York. It originally was a crematorium and chapel, and was refurbished in 1992 for use solely as a chapel.

Your family's comfort matters a great deal to us. Generations of families have depended on us at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Ft. Worth to provide the finest in personalized service and care.
We are proud members of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, offering quality, compassionate care and service you can trust.

We had an amazing experience- from the beginning to the end. Every detail was checked and rechecked. The staff was kind and caring our director was the best!! We loved the updates to the funeral home and enjoyed the catered reception following the service. The cemetery is always well maintained and the cemetery personnel are fantastic. Thank you Laurel Land for helping my family through a very difficult time!!

Most expensive and overcharged Funeral home ever. Headstones are so expensive we went to a place in Cleburne and ordered the same stone at a 1,200.00 SAVINGS. So then they charge 300 dollars to let that company come in and place my parents stone on plots they've owned for years. (This was before my dad died) After my dad died we kept putting out expensive silk flowers to have them thrown away in a day or two. We called and were told we had to have a cemetery approved vase installed to the tune of 500+ dollars. Mom bought it because she loves to put flowers out during the year. We were told No one can put out any flowers unless they are in these types of vases. We then noticed that a new area opened up at the North end. It started looking like fiesta Ville. 5- 6 old glass vases stuck in the ground with scrappy looking flowers and lights Sheppard hooks, food etc. Called to complain and went through this for almost a year. They would clean it up then in a week it would be out again. Called and was told "we contact the families and give the items back. They must have put them back out" Well we sure DID NOT get a call to pick up dads flowers. They just disappeared! Finally I called the head guy out of Dallas to complain. Same thing would happen again. After making sure they knew I wasn't going away he promised it would be taken care of. Same thing gone then back again. I told them they were not upholding their rules for this obvious Hispanic area and we felt like we were being discriminated against. They made my mom shell out big bucks to put out one arrangement of flowers in Their approved vase! Plus they would not allow my father to have a footstone from his service to our country in WW11. Their rules again. I finally turned them into the state for not making all families follow the rules. Wow all of a sudden the junk was gone, signs were placed ALL OVER the grounds in 2 languages about the rules for flowers and decorations!!!!! I do not recommend this memorial place for anyone. As a foot note we realized my Uncle did not have a stone, he and his wife are buried close to my parents plots. We ordered his free memorial stone as he also served in WWII in the Navy. They actually charged us 500 dollars to set this stone!! Why isn't this a free service or at the very least a small fee? I've had stones set for 2 other military members in my family at different memorials and they both charged 50 dollars. Terrible overpriced place, run!

My mother-in-law was 105 years old, and her contract was bought in 1983. Her burial policy had been "archived", since she was far past normal age at her death LaWanda was wonderful help to us. She is kind and concerned, and she found the old contract and they honored it. Leslie made our arrangements, and she understood perfectly what we wanted, and made it happen. We had heard stories about dealing with large corporations, but we were very pleasantly surprised. If you have any difficulty, ask for one of these ladies. They are great!

Came to put flowers on my Mom's grave. It was 7pm 7/10 yet they say they are open until dusk...really ?? Nope guess not. The sun was up and bright yet the gates were locked down. Why ? Called to ask but got answering service. I did leave a message for a return call to resolve this...NO CALL BACK...based on what I see on here I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
