The Laurel Police Department is a municipal law enforcement agency located in Western Sussex County, Delaware. The agency consists of 16 sworn officers and 1 civilian employee. The department is led by the Chief of Police, Dan Wright. The Laurel Police Department averages 3,500 calls for service for the towns approximate 3,900 residences spanning 1.7 square miles.
