Really one of the best spots to visit in Omaha. The activities and events are unique and interesting and change throughout the year. The surrounding gardens offer a variety of well manicured plantings. Take a relaxing walk in any of our four seasons and experience different sights, smells and sounds. A great way to expose yourself to the ever changing beauty and tranquility of nature. The arboretum is relatively new and is an especially nice walk during the winter months.

Very pretty. The green house was amazing and all the plants were unique and great to look at. Not too crowded and was about to get a good amount of photos with my family. Price was decent as well. Wish I could have gone out and seen more but it was way too cold for that. The train decoration was a great touch.

Word of advice: leave the coat in the car. The greenhouses were beautiful (humid and hot too). The lobby and buildings next to the greenhouses were nice. There we're beautiful decorations everywhere you looked. Walking around the building we found lots of activities for kids. They'll love the trains chugging around the larger areas of the lobby.

Beautiful spot to spend the day. The only downside was the day we went there were multiple School groups there. Some of the groups of children were very well behaved but others were running around screaming so it made it hard to enjoy the (should be) peaceful park. When you are in the greenhouse, go out the back door and you can walk on a Wooded Trail. It's not very long but we saw a bunny, multiple squirrels, and a snake!

We enjoyed the Christmas lights at Lauritzen gardens. Our 2 year old absolutely loved the trains, we had to pry him away. The new conservatory is beautiful. Con: We have been to many botanical gardens throughout the U.S. : Colorado, St. Louis, San Diego, Chicago and D.C. Lauritzen gardens is a little smaller but makes up for size with classy displays perfect for events & pictures.
