The Law Office of David Steinfeld represents clients in all manner of business disputes in State, Federal, and Bankruptcy Courts. It also counsels clients on business matters and prepares and reviews commercial documents, including operating and shareholder agreements, non-competes, non-disclosures, and contracts.

The Law Office of David Steinfeld prosecutes and defends contract disputes, UCC actions, real estate related litigation, and business torts, such as theft of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duties, and usurpation of corporate opportunities. It also enforces judgments, performs special assets litigation, and provides legal counsel to clients, such as in the formation of entities and partnerships and the sale of assets.

David Steinfeld is a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation Attorney. He is one of about 250 of the more than 100,000 attorneys in Florida that has been recognized for his experience and expertise in business litigation law.

Board certification in business litigation requires that an attorney be substantially involved in a certain number of business litigation lawsuits and complete a specific number of bench and jury trials to demonstrate competency. Attorneys must also pass a rigorous and thorough examination and receive a satisfactory review from Judges before whom, attorneys against whom they have litigated, and others in the community.

David Steinfeld is also AV-Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest peer review recognition for legal ability and ethical standards that an attorney can achieve, and is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America - the Trial Lawyer Honor Society. The LCA is an invitation-only organization of less than one-half of one percent of all attorneys in America. It is dedicated to ethics and professionalism in the practice of civil litigation.

David Steinfeld is a member of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Major B. Harding and the Craig S. Barnard American Inns of Court. He is licensed to practice law before all Florida State Courts, including the Florida Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the 11th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Federal and bankruptcy Courts in Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

He was formerly a Captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps and was stationed in Texas, Korea, Japan, and Georgia. He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and obtained his bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He speaks Japanese, some Korean, is an Eagle Scout, and enjoys scuba diving and underwater photography.
