Bill is a very special attorney who is thoroughly versed in the law. His response rate is exceptional and his ability to ask the right questions and solve the issues proved very comforting to me and my case. 

I seen first hand the relationship Bill has with the DA's office and the court. He advocates for his clients and gets results. There is a reason why he is one of Santa Barbara's best.

I actually have never written a review on anything,  but I am doing this because i wish I had read this before selecting an attorney for my DUI case. All Makler's reviews painted home out to be this Dui law efficienado.   That wasnt the case for me. He, beyond being rude as hell and completely condescending,  was completely relying on his relationship with the DA and the judge ( who didnt seem to like him more than myself), rather than having an actual gumption of the Ca or DMV law. Save yourself and please look elsewhere if you think you have a case. Otherwise Bill is your guy and you may as well plead guilty now.

Best lawyer I could have asked for. I received some quite excessive charges almost a year ago that truly scared me to pieces, but Bill was able to greatly reduce the charges to the more appopriate charges. He's a very intelligent, devoted, hard-working lawyer that was there for me at all times and went the extra mile. I've never had someone work for me who've I've respected more. If anything ever happens again, I  tuly hope that's not the case haha, I would definitely use him again.

Your much better of representing yourself that is a matter of fact. I was not impressed by his lack of information about the DMV proceedings in his state or my own (Nevada). He is not a full service buisness man he is a snatch and run character like most attorneys are today. Furthermore I believe all other reviews on this page were constructed by the attorneys marketing team and not his actual clients such as myself. Disgrunteled and not amused still in RED TAPE 3 years later but 7 grand lighter in the pockets.
